Clinical Counselor I
Healing does not come from insight alone, but from the experience of being deeply understood and emotionally held.” -Irvin Yalom. Much like Irvin Yalom, I believe that being fully understood and emotionally held is the perfect space for healing. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, creating a safe space where clients can explore their experiences, understand themselves more deeply, and work toward meaningful change; real change that you can see.
As a mother, I understand the many struggles that come with caring for your family. I have a special interest in maternal mental health, difficult relationships, anxiety, and trauma.
My own lived experience with mental health has given me a deeper understanding of the distress that anxiety can bring. This personal experience has strengthened my empathy and ability to support clients navigating anxiety-related concerns.
I am fascinated by the connection between the brain, emotions, and behavior, and I enjoy integrating an understanding of neuroscience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Redlands. I would be honored to support you as you navigate challenges, build resilience, and create a life that feels more aligned, authentic and fulfilling.
