Charmaine Santana

Clinical Counselor I

Charmaine understands that taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, especially when opening up to someone new requires vulnerability and trust. She believes therapy should move at a pace that feels right for each client and prioritizes building a genuine therapeutic connection where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. She recognizes that trust and rapport are the foundation of meaningful therapeutic work and strives to create a space where clients can show up as they are, without fear of judgment.

Her experience spans a variety of settings, including probation centers, high schools, residential treatment centers, and substance use rehabilitation programs. Working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life has deepened her appreciation for the unique experiences that shape each person. She approaches every client’s journey with compassion and respect, recognizing that healing looks different for everyone.

At the heart of her work is the belief that people deserve to feel understood as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their own strengths. Her goal is to walk alongside clients as they grow, heal, and build confidence in the people they are becoming.
